Q. I want to sell my horse. Can I do it here and if so, how much will it cost me?

A. Yes, you can advertise your horse for sale here. Check out our various options to advertise your horse here.

Q. I have more than one horse to sell and I want to advertise my business name. How much is that?

A. If you want to advertise your business you have a number of options. See our rates here

Q. How quickly will my horse appear on your website?

A. Payment must be received in full before your advert can be placed on our website. We aim to have your advert live on our website within 24 hours, but usually it's within the hour.

Q. How long will my horse be advertised for?

A. It depends on the type of ad you want. Free ads last 1 month. On loan adverts are for 3 months. If you have a paid ad, you can choose how long your ad runs. It can be listed for 3, 6 or 12 months, the choice is yours.

Q. How do I notify you that my horse has been sold or if I do not want it to advertise any more?

A. You can notify us by responding to the confirmation email we have sent you or you can email us.

Q. How can you offer such low prices?

A. TheEquineTrader.com is being run by a team of individuals who have a passion for horses. We keep our overheads low, so we are able to offer better rates than some other websites.

Q. I see that you use PayPal for payment. Do I have to have an account with them?

A. No. When you click on 'Pay Now' it will take you through to the PayPal page where there is an option about half way down the page allowing non PayPal account holders to pay with a debit or credit card.

Q. Will I be charged a fee for using PayPal?

A. Absolutely not! All charges are taken on by The Equine Trader.

Q. What format should my picture be?

A. The best image format is .jpeg or .jpg. The size should not be greater than 2Mb.

Q. Can I edit my description after I have submitted my order?

A. If you have a paid advert, yes. Simply send us an email with your confirmation number (which we would have sent to you to confirm you ad had been listed) and tell us what you would like changing.

Q. Why is my photo rejected when I send the order form?

A. Check that you have saved the photo in a .jpg or jpeg format. Check that the image size is not larger than 2Mb. If your file is in its correct format and the size is smaller than 2Mb, you can email the image to us with your name and contact number to info@theequinetrader.com.

Q. I want the paid ad option. Can I add a picture later on if I don't have one when I order?

A. Yes, send us the picture as soon as you can and we will add it to your advert.
